I’m only so cheap.

Good morning crew,

I am very proud of myself. Here it is, the second week of
June, and I haven’t turned on my air conditioner yet! I
just received May’s electric bill and it was only 35 bucks.
Now that’s the kind of bill I can handle.

Unfortunately, being on the third floor of my building, I
get all of the heat rising from the apartments below me.
That means that it is typically 10-15 degrees warmer in my
apartment than it is outside, even with the windows open.
Yesterday it was a pleasant 70 degrees outside but inside
the apartment I had to strip down to my underwear in order
to handle the 82 degree temperature.

It won’t last, though. We have had some unseasonable cool
temps around here, but when it gets into the nineties out-
side I am not going to be roasting in a one hundred plus
degree oven every night.

I’m only so cheap.
